we had alot of long meetings over the yrs. n we've learnt that meetings in our company is always inefficient (ppl late, drag v long, time mgmt sux) n ineffective. meetings last week can even start at 6.30pm n end at 10pm (really. no kidding).
n we had our dose of long strings of meetings last week.
luckily, one ended early (6pm). so baby n i decided to try out this chinese restaurantat the newly opened shopping mall near our workplace.
this shop hav more variety than FC. this is the 蝦子撈面which i can oni find in HK. well, if u compare, the std is nt there though. noodle is al dente n well cooked. but rather tasteless. n the sad thing is, e chilli there is SWEET. upset max.
another new vairiety. fried fish skin. a tad too salty for my liking.
this is good. 菜圃腸粉. the cheong fun is damn Q n smooth! the chye por is nt salty either. v nice!
we waited for this char siew for like 45 mins. ok lor. so so.
this siew mai is nt bad. but i muz say, the ones in FC is better.
yes, we went to the bakery again. tried out their signature crepe cake. v nice!
ok. i found this pack of expired 烏魚子i bought from taiwan. i dun wan to waste it (v ex lor), n it was expired for like less than a mth, so i used it to "scatter" on my spaghetti. nt bad la. cooked some fish to go along w the pasta.
baby n i went bk to the jap shop (the one beside ippudo) for their awesome lunch (wanted to go ippudo, but its flooded w ppl, nn we were famished). this set cost oni 25 bucks. n its super tasty. they hav v good for value lunch. n the quality is superb. pls go n give it a try. for their lunch set. btw, the neigiri on top is AWESOME!!!!!
