A little indulgence for comfort food

i die die oso wan baby to try out the food at this shop.

so we went to this jap restaurant (the one boss treated me for my bday) after payday.hahaha.

 canadian oyster w ponzu sauce. v plump sweet fresh oyster that goes well w the tad salty sauce. nt bad.

 wagyu beef tataki. ok la. but i will skip this nxt time.

 the grilled salmon belly. super super tasty. the fats of the salmon melts in your mouth, coating your tongue, bringing the sweetness of the fish to another level. seafoody goodness!  

 of cos, this awesome grilled chix w jap pepper. no nd to say so much le la. my fav dish.

 the dessert, almond tofu. its so DENSE n soft!!!! not the typical almond tofu we had. super nice! v milky n silky......must order nxt time!!!!

 ladies n gentlemen, my mum's stall. trust me, mum sells the best mee hoon kway n ban mian. really, no joke. 

 dropped by b4 our show on sat to satisfy my craving for tom yum noodles. yum!

 al dente noodles, sour n spicy broth.....hehe. i am drooling as i wrote this.

 slurping the noodle-ly goodness!!! mum noes how i wan it. best.

 mum made her mee hoon kway herself. handmade leh.Q n smooth. pls go n try! (do note that the food runs out at abt 1pm. so i no nd to hard sell la....let me noe if u wan a visit so i can ask her to save some food for us!)

 baby n i went for some awesome gelato b4 the show.

 i can oni say i am nt a fan of 昆曲.沒有慧根. sorry.

 baby n i wanted to hav sukiyaki for dinner, but the Q is freaking long, so we decide to b the "spillover" crowd, went to the new jap bbq restaurant.

 nt bad la. perhaps i'm still in the mood of 乾杯in taiwan. i miss the experience.

anyway, for the price, i will rather go korean bbq. nicer.

we went for dessert at tcc after that. i need my coffee fix. i can oni ask u to stick to the old desserts instead of new ones. they fare better previously.

Playing w the HP again

went to starfruit's plc to visit little starfruit.

 he is like nt v happy w the fact that so many uncles n aunties waking him up from his slumber party.

 me: diao simi diao?
little starfruit: kns, u dig me out of my bed leh.....

 i want maam maam......(he kept opening his mouth)

 mr tomato was quite frantic when we asked him to carry the baby. kept telling us "eh,我很怕 leh".....look at hw many pairs of hands helping him.....

 the milk maid got busy while the mum chats n gossips in the background.....whose child is this yo?

 tomato: i oso hungry (our order of food came like 2 freaking hours late wout explaination)
me: (telling little starfruit) faster drink, if nt the hungry wolf behind will steal ur milk.
little starfruit: *suck furiously*

nv seen baby so "motherly" b4. look at her nervous eyes. somemore snatched the milk from the real baby. poor kid. sigh. look at hw hungry he was.

 went to balestier road early in the morning to Q for this legendary TSP. baby want to eat leh, no choice.

 at 70 cents each, its a steal. n it is damn tasty. i am nt a TSP fan n i totally adore this. both salty n sweet variant r equally good. skin is super flaky n thin, filling is delicious. i will go back there n Q again.

 went to try out tcc's new high tea set after gym on sat. they nv fail to amaze us w the food they had. bold, innovative n good taste!

 baby: dun take my pimple ah.....

 my super gigantic sandwich. totally stuffed after this.

 look at the eyeball w blood in the middle. its actually lychee jelly ball w blue berry inside, "dripped" w raseberry sauce. v nice!

Not all jap food is nice + 花痴的一周

 boss brought me n team to this jap rest to celebrate my bday.

 WC's set. salmon is moist n fresh.

 chix n tofu w egg. ok.

 this is freaking awesome. grilled chix w jap pepper. crispy skin, tender n juicy flesh, little spiciness from the pepper.....v nice.

 boss's tonkatsu. crispy outside, tender pork. nice.

 this shop is frequent by japanese. v authentic jap food. v nice.

 ok, i am going to comment abt this ramen shop for their food.

side dishes were mediocre. dun waste ur calories. ramen was ok. soup nt v salty. but the real kick came 30 mins after the meal. MSG. super numb tongue for the rest of the day. i wun go bk again.

 went to the wellness program my company organised for us. c flowers.

 after the experience of niagara falls, this is nothing.hahahaha.

 according to research, we will die in 2100. by then, i will b very dead too. maybe reincarnated as a polar bear. then i muz plan properly now. go green ppl! u'll nv noe wat u will become ur nxt life.

 this olive tree is the oldest in the whole garden. 1000 yrs old.

this micellin one star restaurant is in the garden. we heard dat it's fully booked until nxt yr end. madness. baby n i decided to try our luck n make a reservation for dec. in the end, we were asked to try our luck in nov. ok. lets try. we will b back.
