One of the many farewell lunches + monthly BFF gathering

人老了好像什么“机器” 都会出问题。

i have been having this annoying backache for the past one yr. it got so bad this yr that i have to consult a specialist for it.

as a result, i have to go for MRI scan for my spine.

results were out last week. n i have been so worried abt the result.

it turns out that.......

I AM OK!!!!

the doc duno wat causes the prolong pain though.

asked me to put on more adipose tissue at my arse area.

thanks man.

baby n i went to this yakitori shop in far east to have a quick lunch b4 my scan.

n we r impressed by the quality of food served!

v good. we will b back for more!

 my yakitori set. so much food. the yakitori served here was fantastic. nt those mediocre ones soaked in so called teriyaki sauce. these r seriously good stuff.

 baby's saba set. the fish was grilled to perfection.

 we ordered additional skewers of pork wrapped asparagus. yumz!

 followed by tea at scotts. my scan was at 5pm ma.....so have to wait lor.....eating is always my fav past time......

 we went for a department farewell lunch for one of our colleague. sad to c her go. a few tears were shed during her last day. more to come though.

i've recommended this place to them n the bosses gladly took us there! we hav v generous bosses.

 this lobster salad is soooooooooo goooood! v tasty, light, refreshing. v v nice.

we've ordered desserts too.....but i realised that i was so engrossed w the good food, i've forgotten to tk pix! hahaha.....we will definitely b back for more good food!

 best crab cake i've tasted in singapore. u can taste the big chunks of sweet crab meat.

 wat is dinner wout beef in WGP's restaurant? it was grilled to perfection. best strip loin i've tasted so far.

the hills are very alive.....w the sound of music.....i love it. the musical was wonderful. childhood memories came flooded back. i hope my 2nd aunt will b able to c this from heaven. i missed her. god bless her soul.

 finally, we r able to meet our bffs on a PH. M got baby a belated bday present. thanks pal. v sweet of u. :)

 my fav pig's ears. so good, we had 2 servings for this. (n the server REMEMBERED this, n teased us for it)

 grilled iberico pork. tender n juicy.

 bulgogi chicken. v nice! tender w nice flavors.

 grilled seabass. abit overcooked n dry.

they've chg their desserts menu. this is the pineapple ice pop w coffee mousse. not bad. v resfreshing

 saw the " flow-y"hair? yes, v WINDY that nite.hahaha. 

 they were complaining that this tiramisu is packed w too much alcohol. i didnt even feel it. no, booze is NEVER enuff for me.

 C ordered another serving of the dessert, since the 1st one was polished up by urs truly. while she kept ranting abt the off-frequency-mr-banana (face it pal), she caught the attention of the handsome ang mo server. n we got a complimentary choclate peanut butter tart. yes, free food. thanks pal.  

 look at the tart. v rich in flavors.

conclusion?
more gathering = more good (n free) food!
