baby n i was telling each other that we r really on a lucky strike when it comes to food lately.
we've made some good choices in our meals so as to "utilize" the amt of calories we can hav a day.

we've decided randomly on fri that we wan to hav our lunch in this small restaurant in HV. the set lunch is really CHEAP!

appetiser. aparaghus w truffle cream. nice n crispy.
calamari salad
pizza w pork sausage n peppers. nt bad! the sauce tasted really good!
this is the highlight of the lunch. the lamb chops r cooked perfectly. medium. crispy outside, juicy meat.....good!
mango cheesecake for dessert. not bad for a weekday lunch!
went to this hype up place for dinner.
well, i can oni say its hyped up. food is ok. ok oni ah.
baby n i decided to hav an early dinner on sat. we went to this v v v v v crowded restaurant at 4.45pm to Q up for their famous collagen pot. there were like 8 couples infront of us when we reached. n the restaurant (open at 5pm) have oni 10 tables. heng xiao.

soup melt already! i muz tell u, the food is REALLY great!!!!! the soup is rich n "sticky", the ingredients r fresh. i particularly love the yuzu pepper sauce. it is really really tasty. worth all the Q-ing time n $$$!!!!!
the service is great too! one of the server came to us n offer this seaweed paste for the soup, telling us that it was "from my heart"(then placed her hand on her chest). i nearly choked on the soup. funny max.
complimentary dessert from the kitchen! i will b back!
w a full stomach, baby n i walked to orchard to hav dessert. :p
i love this apple tart w caramel jelly. nt too sweet, nt the pastry is awesome.
they hav v nice eclairs too!
i muz say, sunday was a day to remember.

went to this chinese restaurant a macpherson (famous for crab beehoon) for dinner. M trying to snap some shots.

fried fish skin. good. but i tend to prefer the one from the restaurant next door....opps.
this is my fav dish of the meal. guiness stout spare ribs. v robust flavors, rich n nt too oily. good.
baby say the crab looks angry. haha. the crab bee hoon is full of crab flavor. rich n creamy. my oni complain? nt salty enuff.
bamboo clam w garlic. i like the crispy texturen the sweetness of the clam. the garlic is surprisingly sweet (nt spicy n garlicky, which is weird to me). nt bad. quite ex though.
verdict? as much as i wan to say that e seafood is fresh.....erm, i still perfer the food next door (W* Pen*). the food there is tastier(for me la) n the service is better too. hey girls, next door nxt time? *to M: no seafood nxt door, u can eat other things besides veg n pork*
we tried to take a cab to our nxt destination for dessert.
