CATS - The Musical

those who missed this musical ought to bang themselves against the wall.
only one word to descibe this musical.
BRILLIANT.
yes.
i was fantastic.
after waiting for like 16 years for this, i've finally watched it last nite.
my god. it was hell of an experience.
there were even cats looming at the audience area, juz to let u hav the "feel".
fantastic.
the choreography was at its best, the harmonisation, the vocals......my god.
wonderful.
it was the BEST musical ever.
i can say that it was even better than POTO.
serious.
i can't stop raving abt it.

the star "cat" of the show was a cheeky cat named "Rum Tum Tugger".
if i hav a chance to play (of cos NO chance. dream oni), i would wan to play this character.
v fun loving cat.
u can watch the performance below.

he's good, right?
we cant stop laughing once he worked his charm on stage.
i wan to say, again, brilliant (ok, my vocab v limited)

n of cos, the famous ever "Memory" by elaine paige.
too bad the cast was from aust this time round. but well, they r good too.
when she sang the song at the last part, wah, i was so touched. hair all standing, tears in my eyes (no kidding).
"Memory"

Daylight
See the dew on the sunflower
And a rose that is fading
Roses whither away
Like the sunflower
I yearn to turn my face to the dawn
I am waiting for the day . . .
Midnight
Not a sound from the pavement
Has the moon lost her memory?
She is smiling alone
In the lamplight
The withered leaves collect at my feet
And the wind begins to moan
Memory
All alone in the moonlight
I can smile at the old days
I was beautiful then
I remember the time I knew what happiness was
Let the memory live again
Every streetlamp
Seems to beat a fatalistic warning
Someone mutters
And the streetlamp gutters
And soon it will be morning
Daylight
I must wait for the sunrise
I must think of a new life
And I musn't give in
When the dawn comes
Tonight will be a memory too
And a new day will begin
Burnt out ends of smoky days
The stale cold smell of morning
The streetlamp dies, another night is over
Another day is dawning
Touch me
It's so easy to leave me
All alone with the memory
Of my days in the sun
If you touch me
You'll understand what happiness is
Look
A new day has begun
super nice musical.
well done, CATS.
meow.
