Very Nostalgic Xmas

this yr's feasting started off w a mini tea buffet at the pantry.

we've ordered the food for a lunch in meeting. but meeting canceled, feasting continued.

hahahaha.

 verdict? go to the cafe n eat. food doesnt really taste as good when they r da pao.

 baby nt v happy that this shop is open. yes, my craving for raw fish had me propelled to my fav sushi shop AGAIN!

 went to this shop for steak. they got my t-bone cooked wrongly. returned it back, done a new one. end up, under-seasoned. wat a shame. baby's pork chop was really good though. will not go back again.

 xmas eve tea. half day at work = high tea at pan pac.

 food was ok. i cant say the same abt the service though. need improvement. lots of it.

 usual xmas feast at hm.

 inivited a family fren for dinner. specially "dolled up" for the occasion.

 made this pasta w my own ragu recipe. tasted good! hehe.

 speaking of which, this coffee shop at the foot of the biopolis hill (commonwealth drive) has been our fav lunch out place lately. however, it will make way for the new buildings in feb. SO SAD!
baby n i r starting to hav emotional attachment to this plc.
all the aunties n uncles r v nice n warm to us.
i mean, really man, nothing lasts forever?

 my ah mah's hse oso hav this clock.

 the orange pay phone we used to make prank calls (dun put $$$, juz dial, then when the person pick up, the line will go dead......toooooooo...........)

 even the spoon oso reminds me of my childhood days (pour the milo into the saucer n drink)

 auntie working so so hard everyday for our lunch. w a smile on her face everytime wout fail.

 the yong tau hoo here is AWESOME. super tasty chilli n the soup is full of ikan bilis goodness.

 this wanton mee auntie is super fierce. but she cook her noodles w passion, wrapping wanton as per ordered, treated each plate w love. like a piece of art! love her passion (n her fiesty temper!)

 oh man, my heart is as soft as the eggs when it comes to soft boiled eggs for bfast!
