My not so carbo loading xmas 2014

i guess we did a good job of restricting our carbo loading for xmas this yr.

did nt really eat as much as previous yrs.

but still......

 we went to this fairly new bagel plc at tanjong pagar to try out their bagels. very good! n the boss was really friendly n chatty. he came n asked for our comments n feedback, n shared w us the reviews they had online. a v cute boy. but if u ask me, it is out of the way to go for bagels only, though the food was good. hope they can sustain the biz w their passion.

 wanted to meet M & C for pre xmas dinner. end up kena aeroplane (again, countless times) by C. she managed to pass us her xmas prez for us though. look at the intricate staff. i bet my fat n clumsy fingers wun b able to put these together. thank u for the gift my fren. 

 dinner was at our fav yakitori plc. yummy.

 i finished this garlic fried rice (gladly) by myself. yes, no sharing ok. fried rice of any kind makes me a happy person.

 if u realised, their yakitori is wout sauce. juz grilled to perfection w shio. outstanding stuff.

 n how can we forgot my ultimate fav chix butts!

 dessert came w set meal. worth all ur money.

 M was apparently drowned w giraffes. baby made a stuffed giraffe for her, while C made a nano giraffe. wats w the giraffe love?

 this hse special meat ball is AWESOME. their grilling sauce was fantastic! eaten w the quail egg....wah seh. we ordered this even when we were so damn full. cos it smells so amazing on other ppl's table. n it was DELICIOUS!

 

 the quail eggs were good too! M was a happy woman that nite (too many eggs!)

 xmas mookata (sort of) in my hse. i bough those gigantic scallops n alaska crab legs for shabu.

 wats xmas eve wout victoria secret's fashion show? however, i muz say, this yr's show was a disappointment to us. nt much variety of designs, n it was blandly presented. n the guest....bleh. TS. y her again la. boring. oni my beautiful alessandra shone. ok. bias.

 baby n i made a 2nd batch of xmas cookies, n it was more successful than the 1st batch. secret behind was the ratio of flour n butter. lousy recipe online.

 made some bruschetta using v sweet cherry tomatoes n basil. simple is good.

 she cooked this french onion soup. i torched the cheese using my new toy.

 i cooked this juicy pork chops. marinated for 5 hrs. u can go imagine the taste. :)

 made pear chutney n purple cabbage w anchovy sauce as side dish.

 playing w my new toy again for the dessert. 

 creme brulee! it looked ok, but apparently, it wasnt really set yet. i will try this again nxt time.

 inspired by porn's dad, we went for BKT after gym on fri. i love the peppery soup! 

 n we went for bfast at JI the nxt day. meal was spoilt by a crazy ang mo bi*** who screamed at us at the entrance simply bcos we "cut her Q" n walked in front of her. ??? i didnt even c the w**** t****. maybe this was the reason y. trash belonged to the trash bins, not beside (or behind) me. bitch work at its max. scram back to ur own country. preferential treatment for ur kind will nt b tolerated here. F off.

 湘菜had always been up to our alley since my visit to one restaurant in guangzhou. good food at this restaurant in bugis.

 who can skip the dessert fr ah chew after meal?

D&D 2014 - 幽灵人间之鬼魅成群（却无聊透顶）

wat can i say?
i shd hav followed my instinct by boycotting it this yr.
end up, for some weird political reasons, we went ahead to attend the most boring ever D&D. ever.

 we snatched this from another department. it look like an apron for me, baby look as if she is going to a hairdressing salon doing her hair

 the program sux big time. we dun really noe wat was going on on stage, n the emcee sux big time. rude, unprofessional n unengaging. we ended up walking around to look for drinking kakis.

hw am i suppose to finish my food when this queen was sitting right beside me for the nite? i cant stop laughing when i saw his/her makeup peel into the food (ya, u can c the paint in  his/her wine n food)

 he was v tu lan. need a straw to drink. cant even eat. n yes, dat was my finger

 soup too hot, muz fan, if nt will melt the straw. i laughed my ass off when i saw his tu lan face. so funny la.

 like i say, i dun understand the whole thrill behind cross dressing men. wassup w the snow white behind?????

 uncle alice v happy to win a luggage. he is thinking of interviewing for air stewardess.

 awesome mad hatter won the best dressed award. the stupid emcee kept thinking that she was a man. gender blind. idiot.

 we were so bored dat we kept taking selfies n play w instagram. tsk. super lousy events company.

time nt wasted though. i got e 20th prize for lucky draw. sony mp3 waterproof headphone. nt bad.

the bloody event ended at 12 midnite. no cab (cos lousy location), no mrt, no human beings (all drunk pigs n ghosts, as u can c).

we hav to walk a good 20 mins b4 we hop onto a cab (finally).
