Super Busy Month

bloody busy this mth.

went taiwan for business trip. maybe going again mth end.sigh. y?

 

 met up w M & C at shin yeh. for taiwanese food.

 this platter is good! the bamboo shoots tasted like pear!!! juicy n slightly sweet. the chix n mullet roe is good too. this is good for sharing.

 the clams r fragrant w basil n wok hei. the flesh is sweet n meaty. v good.

 chix w sesame oil n wine. BAGUS!!!!

 always a fav of mine. fried oysters.

 we will b fools if we didnt order this. pork liver.

 went to nearby for desserts n wine. had a good chat! we will do it again!!!!

 after we raved abt this place to C the night b4, we went bk to satisfy my craving for some good cajun food.

 this vietnamese place at HV is good for their pho. n viet coffee.

 baby n i decided to order the hotpot for 2 to share. n when the food arrived, we got a shock. wtf. y so much food?????

 v tasty n value for money. will go for it again nxt time.

 our fav ootoya came up w a new menu. baby n i met J at the restaurant for some gossip.

 super nice food.

 baby n i went to this place for dinner after my lesson, b4 the musical. they have hand made baked potato chips!!! v nice!

 their french onion soup is pretty tasty too! w alot of gruyere cheese!!! woohoo!

 baby ordered a pork chop w bernaise sauce. pork was juicy n tender. v nice.

 

my hanger steak w potato gratin n blue cheese sauce. super tender n melt in ur mouth. the beef here is awesome.

this is disappointing. the pineapple is under roasted. sigh. wasted.

 coffee was good. maybe we shd skip dessert nxt time.

 the phantom of the opera........my all time fav musical ever. the cast was great. probably the best i've ever seen (i've attended 4 times).

 kena sabo to go business trip on the national day week. ate dinner v late. abalone porridge. w fake abalone inside. super big bowl. n i was running for water after the meal. msg loaded.

 the 卤肉饭&贡丸汤 was quite good though.

 e colleagues from taiwan brought us to this place for dinner after our long day at the factory next day.

 this is really good! the soup was fragrant n nt over spicy.

 who can resist the duck blood!!!!! i love this. filled myself up w this.

 went to this outdoor art exhibition. in taichung. a pleasent surprise.

 of cos muz go fengjia n eat my fav prawn!!!!

 best sweet potato balls in taiwan. v nice.

 my bfast b4 we set off for airport.

 lunch was good.

 tried to make souffle over the weekend. texture n taste ok. look.....hmmmm....i will work hard nxt time.

 the thing abt my JO's italian restaurant is there's nt enuff light to take photo.....the chilli pepper is v nice.

 veg salad thingy. so-so.

 i've nv tasted risotto so light b4. i love this. nt to mention the truffles.

 cant really capture this. bake fish. abit too dry.

 dessert was good. the chcoclate pot is really v nice. nt sweet at all!!!!

 tiramisu was good too.

overall, their food is good. but we think dat they really need to work on their QC. quality quite inconsistent.
