My Inspiration - Junior Master Chef

i've been chasing this programme for the past few weekends
and now thta it has ended, my sunday nites had since became super lost n boring.
i wan my chef-lings back.

the top 12. kids w age 8-12. amazing kids. nt to mention that they r super cute.

the judges

although they r competing to b the 1st junior masterchef in aus, u dun c them hating each other. they r gracious, encouraging. friendship come 1st.

they always encourage each other by saying "well done, you've done a great job!", hug each other....u dun c adults doing the same thing in competitions. even if they lose, they will still think that the other party had done better than them. no tears. all smiles. n they r juz kids. when can adults do the same?

my sis love this boy. his name is pierre. handsome young boy w exceptional skills.

this dish he cooked was described by the judges as the most brilliant dish ever attempted in masterchef history. lamb wellington. even adults can't cook like this.

this little one, siena, is the dessert queen of the competition.went into top 4.

these two gals definitely worth a mention. they r a apir of italian twins (ya, i noe, they dun look alike). the one in black hair is sofia, who makes GREAT pastas. even the judges cant make pastas as good as her. best in the competition. the other one is isabella, my fav in this competiton. she is super innovative and her cooking n plating skills r superb. and they r oni 12 yrs old.

they have to go thru numerous tests like the pressure test, invention taste, taste test, cook w celebrity chefs, cater for a football team.....

i mean, come on.

who in this world believe that kids 8-12 cooked all these?

my isabella cooked this....hehe...bias a bit.

this dish was inspired by isabella's nona(grandma). she made the spaghetti herself, cooked the snails....WHO CAN COOK SNAILS LIKE THIS????

the 2 finalist to battle out. isabella and jack.

jack's dish. smoked quail in citrus sauce. quail leh.....super difficult to cook.

scallops w garlic custard and blood orange reduced jelly. by isabella. this dish got 3 full points out of 5 judges. super brilliant dish.

yes, the finalist hav to make this. pear perfection. by a v famous dessert chef in australia. o was damn amazed. how can kids replicate sophisticated dessert like this? but they've done it, n did better than the chef himself. to think that i cant even bake a choux pastry properly in my 'o' levels practical. god bless these kids.

winner is isabella, scoring a whopping 97 out of 100. i am so happy when i noe the results. brought tears to my eyes.

i was so so inspired by these kids.

as long as u have a dream, dun b afraid to pursue it.

age is never a limit to your passion n capability.
