i hav nt been updating for a long time.
here r some random pix of the "activities" i had after i came bk from taiwan.
me n baby went to this plc at esplanade for a drink n chit chat session.

as we tok, we got hungry. so we ordered more food. nt surprising. this is the pizza-duno-wat (u hav to forgive me la, so many mths ago.....)
souffle (duno wat flavour). not nice. our done on the outside, inside still v v mushy. too high temp.

we went to the beach to hav a swim. (i swim, she soak)
after that, we went wash up n had our dinner in one of the restaurant downstairs. the food was really good! alough its more of a local cuisine, i muz say the chef really did a good job to balance the flavours. yumz!

trust me, its damn difficult to get tables.
but well, i manage to get one for the restaurant i've always wanted to try!!!!

the service was damn solid. they helped us to prepare both main course n dished them into 2 portions so that we can enjoy all the food included in the menu. superb! the squid ink spag is great!!! but i still prefer the one at valentino....(opps)
the veal. super duper nice. the nicely pan fried veal w the fragrant sauce is an orchestra of flavours. baby tot it was too salty though.
hahhahaha.
baby n i went to mirama for jap buffet. my fav salmon skin handroll. comfort food. nv fail to cheer me up.

i tried some new recipes when my family was in HK for holiday.
n i managed to pull the "eggs ben" off.
the hollandaise sauce n the poached eggs were perfect!!!

lemon spaghetti w pan fried prawns. flop. too much cheese, damn salty....sigh.

baby's cod. surprisingly firm n chewy. nt oily too. quite nice. look at the foam on the left side. it was called the crustacean foam. amazing combination w the fish. duno hw to describe the mouth feel. go try urself.
