i was experimenting this new gadget (dad bought, threw away my oven....sad). nt bad yo. chicken skin is crispy n meat is tender n juicy. will try to do some brulee or souffle with it nxt time.
steal one P.H macaroons from sis's purchase......yumz. still the best i've ever eaten.

a f*** face. the atmosphere here was lethargic. oni 2 other customers here, n the cooks r loitering around, not cooking. yet we have to wait quite long for our orders. even the salad. to think that i keep c-ing the head chef playing w his hp. wat is this man.
spinach w grapes n blue cheese. i muz say i love this. good combination, great taste. love the blue cheese.
we ordered the special grilled pork for 2 to share. it was a gaint pc of meat.
big was the word. n thats abt all. the server did told me that it will b served slightly pink. i am fine w it. good quality meat. however, it might b due to the uneven distribution of fats (or the incompetency of the cooks), some part tends to b too dry, n the middle part is typically RAW. although they "volunteered"to "re-cook" for us, we felt that it wasn't necessary, cos by doing that, the meat will be super dry out already. paid 100 bucks (yes, 100) for this. sigh. wat would u do if u were me?

it was raining cats n dogs that day, so me n baby went to this cafe across the road (near our lab) for lunch.
they r still testing out their menu. all under-seasoned to us. can b better.
had this lovely "popiah party"at J's hse over the weekend. v nice of her to prepare these for us. :)
