PH's Macaroons + Tapas


someone actually got me a box of our fav macaroons from their HK branch.
 saw my name on the box?
 baby came n steal the box of goodies

 LOOK at the salt crystals on the chocolate macaroon. omg.....tasted fantastic!
 baby n i tried this new place for tapas at tanjong pagar.
 this sous vide egg is AWESOME!!!! tasted so so good.
 grilled jalapeno peppers. v v nice. sweet (not spicy!!!) n fruity (yes).
 salted cod. no fishy note (not like the one we had in rome. yucks.) the texture is firm n meaty. v nice.
 this is my fav dish of the nite. negro paella. super rich flavours from the sea.....yum yum yum!
 they dun hav this in the menu. i was trying my luck when i asked the server. surprisingly, they prepared the churros for us. this is the best churros i've had in singapore. fantastic crispy exterior, with hint of cinammon, warm dark chocolate dip......go figure!
 white tiramisu. v v nice. the used white chocolate w mascapone cheese. the alcohol was intense! overall, a v well balanced dessert. conclusion? we will stick to this place instead of esquina. this place rocks!
 had steamboat dinner at baby's hse over the weekend. look at the amt of food. hahaha. quite shiok though. baby is cracking an egg (in the end, overcooked) into the soup.
