My Power Weekend

completed my class finally.

long time nv spend time w baby. so we've decided to take the friday off (to siam a company event.....).

 juz wan to shw u this brilliant pc of chicken fr the chix rice stall near zai zai's hse. look at the gelatin between the skin n the meat. woo la la.

 we went to this mexican hangout after our gym session on thurs. v nice food. my oni complain is the food is not spicy enough. baby complaint abt the MSG. taste wise, its good. 

 baby n i chiong to this TSP shop after we met MQ n her hubby in the morning. look at her la, so happy.

 tsp where got enuff for us? we made our way down to this wtm stall in amk for thai style wtm. super-licious! reminds me of good-old-bangkok.

 we dun wan to waste our off day, so i've actually made reservations for this high tea at mandarin few weeks ago.

 food was good n the service was impeccable. we had a good afternoon. we will b back again.

 

managed to cook smth on sat (finally). seafood galore (fish, prawns, mussles, clams) w zucchini n roasted red peppers, spaghetti w anchovies n lemon.

 

dat was my weekend.

felt abit lost though. missed those "butter sessions" w XH n class.

muz look for smth else to do man. cos job sucks to core. sigh.

Feasting Session 2013 Starts!

as some of u may noe, the irritating arse hole is going back to his motherland this week!

to him, its a farewell lunch. to us, it is a celebration lunch.

 overall, food stds had improved tremendously, although i cant say the same abt the servcie though.

 yes yes. juz as we r complaining that there r nth to eat in biopolis, this new stall at the food court sells my fav 麻辣烫!!!! baby n i shared this " basin" of hot n spicy veg for lunch. n we paid a price (w our stomach) for it the nxt day.

 met 2 sick birds for dinner at capri. end up we didnt really had much food as they had a limited appetite. sigh. lets go AGAIN.

 baked pasta was awesome.

 beef was good too.

 cod fish too big. ended up undercooked. they took it back n cook it. too dry in the end. flavor was there though. wat a shame.

 dessert n espresso is good! i will go back again for the suckling pig!

 my last lesson at FM this week. everyone busy preparing farewell gift for XH.

 i will miss them!!!! they r so fun to b with!!!! all talented n humble nice ppl. n i've finally found ppl who dun think i am from mars. haha.一群怪人!

 this new place popped up in orchard area, making a name for themselves by selling cheap n fresh (i mean really FRESH) seafood. average Q time: 30 - 60 mins

 aburi salmon roll is AWESOME. fatty salmon w avocado, tamago, cucmber.....go figure. yummy.

 scallop carpaccio w mentaiko. super sweet n fresh. 

 this is the best valued chirashi i've had. ever. i came here for this. even had to forgo my fav oysters!!!!! its all worth!!!! look a the THICK slices of fishes. n the super creamy n sweet uni. totally worth waiting n paying.

 grilled yellow tail head. tender n juicy. v nice!

 baby n i went to this "tea place" after the omega 3 overdose. 

 baby had the lychee tea, while i had the lavender earl grey.

 dessert is prebiotic pancake (prata leh....) with pear tea n champagne ice cream. nice. well b back!
