Lethargic start to 2015

life has been a little slow recently. in a good way i guess.
muz hav been the "post holiday symptoms" we r having. feeling lethargic n slow.
ah well.
hw did u spend the last few days of 2014?
new yr resolution?
make more $$$$! haha. this is more of a wish than resolution i guess.

 went to J's hse for a new yr eve dinner. nat was in a foul mood dat day. btw, his new name is gecko. of all names. gah.

 our zai zai hav the potential to b a chef. i knew he will b....hahahaha.

 trying to b banker in casino style game. nt v smart (i didnt react to his stunts), but 100 points for cuteness!

 alfresco dinning at the balcony. look at the amt of food. someone fly kite dat day lor (madam M, its u).

 zai zai feeding his kai ma biscults. the kai ma nearly swallowed his fingers. v hungry woman.

 made these dumplings the nxt day for lunch. looks like curry puffs, hahaha

 maybe i shd become a hawker.

 farewell dinner for baby's boss. too engrossed in food n gossiping, forgot to take pix of HUMAN. hahaha.

 best burrata i've eaten. no kidding.

 pasta was ok

 beef was ok too.

 fish was good.

 was told that this is muscato, tasted more like grappa. i will stick to my limoncello nxt time

 the lemon meringue pie was good. 

on the whole, food was good, but considering the location, i will think twice if i wan to go bk for dinner nxt time.

 i've always felt that good old hawker food is the best. went to sample their lechon, but nt available till 5pm! took their roast meat instead. it was good! i will go bk for lechon nxt time!

 went bk to this cafe for dinner (after the free pudding)

 smoked salmon w caviar. yummy!

 their lobster linguine was fantastic! al-dente pasta w seafood rich sauce. i like the fact that the sauce was nt too heavy on the tomato side. n the lobster was soft n sweet! good!

 beef was perfectly medium rare, juicy n flavorful. so good!

yes yes, the sticky pudding. except that this time, we paid for it. gladly.
